Oh my Sherri Shepherd has gotten all worked up about the Eddie Long scandal. In this segment of “Hot Topics” Sherri is the most emotional and outspoken. I totally agree with Sherri as a man of God he should not have settled.
There are so many layers to this story it really is sad that it was able to go on for so long.
I am somewhat puzzled by the reactions of some Christians to this scandal considering the fact that the Bible has already warned you.
There will be false prophets, false teachers and there will be those that conspire to bring down the “righteous”.
However, being a man or woman of God is supposed to prepare you for all these things. I can understand the pain, the anger, and the feelings of betrayal but these reactions also reveal so much more about religion.
We walk by faith not by sight…..
That is something to think about.
This man has an extremely large congregation and yet no one noticed anything. How on God’s green earth is that possible..?
