Kanye West as a Dj..? Sure why not. Sometimes talent is transferrable into other areas and some times it isn’t. I am sure that the two who tweeted about his awful Dj Debut were among a handful of people not pleased. We all know that every body loves Kanye. Right..?

Kanye West made his stateside DJ debut as DJ Yeezy World Peace last night at the pre-grand opening of 1 OAK at the Mirage in Vegas. Kanye manned the DJ booth for 3 hours and spun a combination of Bon Jovi, Bobby Brown, and Michael Jackson, as well as an array of his own hits including “N*ggas in Paris” (which he played five times!!), ‘‘Golddigger” and “Good Life”.

 

Unfortunately, not everyone thought DJ Yeezy World Peace did a good job behind the 1′s and 2′s. Several fans in attendance tweeted their dislike for Kanye’s DJ skills, calling him “the worst DJ of all-time” and an “awful DJ”. Check out the tweets below.

Jennifer Hudson

Can you picture Jennifer Hudson as precious..? I sure can’t. J-Hud has was offered the role but didn’t want to back on the pounds required.

The Oscar-winner says:
I had [gained weight] with Effie [in Dreamgirls] and as much as I was moved by this film, I wanted to try a role that had nothing whatsoever to do with my weight.

Let’s be honest here… Precious is a great movie and I don’t think adding Jennifer Hudson would have improved it. You may not like what I’m about to say but I think Jennifer Hudson is too pretty for the role. I mean seriously would we all have been as sympathetic for a beautiful full -figure Jennifer Hudson.

Hell NO !

You can’t put Mega star Jennifer Hudson in a role like that and still expect the audience “me” to connect emotionally. That just won’t work.

Dreams girls was different she was still “newish”. Heck I had difficulty with her role as Sarah Jessica- Parkers assistant from St. Louis in the Sex in the City Movie. It just didn’t fit her.

Now Jennifer Hudson as Winnie Mandela on the other hand seems to be a more fitting role. I said “seems’.  hmm, has the movie been released yet.?

I’ll look into that.

Just in time for Christmas the Retro Concords are re-born and for a little while some thing old is new. If you are one of the many hopefuls that ran out to buy these shoes I hope they bring you the joy you seek. I vowed never to buy a pair of Jordan’s when I was a kid. To this day I have never bought a pair of Jordan’s. I love what this man has done for the Chicago Bulls but the shoe prices are ridiculous.

The Chicago Police Department will conduct a DUI Strike Force Patrol in the Englewood (007th) District. The DUI Strike

DUI

Force Patrol will commence at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2011 and end at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011.

The purpose of this program is to saturate a pre-designated area with roving police officers that continually monitor vehicular traffic for signs of impaired driving. Patrols also place emphasis on speed, alcohol-related and safety belt violations. Police vehicles equipped for speed detection are deployed to apprehend speeding violators.

In addition, the Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT) Mobile Unit may also be deployed to allow officers to expedite the process of charging a person with Driving under the Influence (DUI) prior to transporting an alleged into the nearest lockup for bonding. The mobile unit also
allows for Individual Recognizance Bonds (I-Bonds) to be issued at the site of the DUI Strike Force Patrol.

The DUI Strike Force Patrol conducted in the Ogden (010th) District on December 3-4, 2011resulted in the following:
